Act Four: The Mouse King
As Clara slept, the room transformed around her: the Christmas tree became enormous and the vibrancy of the party dimmed into the muted pinks and sepia tones of the forest floor.
The vengeful Mouse King appeared with his army of mice in tow. A battle ensued between the Nutcracker and the King's soldiers, and with Clara's help the Nutcracker defeated the King and turned into a prince.
