Egyptian faience is a man-made material formed out of crushed quartz and other minerals. The paste-like mixture was typically glazed and fired (as you would a piece of pottery), and the result is this beautiful, bright stone. This necklace has one 20k rice-shaped bead at the center that feels intentional and elegant.
